Jeroen Torenbeek and Inez Meurs both are allrounders in the field of Internationalising Higher Education. Although they work from different, complementary perspectives, they share one fundamental conviction: never think of something of which the implementation is not arguably simple and feasible. When advising on the set-up of a Summer School on an assumingly less desirable location, prove the feasibility by running it the first year. When you are convinced an organisation will benefit from a more tight structure, manage it yourself for a while. And when running a project, always connect the policymakers with the implementers. Or, even better, get the policymakers to implement their own plans, and generate input from the implementers.
